Assessment - TAIS

The Attentional & Interpersonal Style Inventory accurately assesses the psychological components critical to effective performance. The origins of TAIS are in the world of competitive athletics and military special services. For over 35 years, TAIS has been used to determine who has the psychological "Right Stuff" to function at elite levels of performance. TAIS reliably measures whether or not a person can stay focused and keep their emotions under control, which are the core elements of performing well under high-pressure conditions.
 
Relevance of the Assessment: The theory, model and assessment process can be used effectively to structure interviews and observe behavior in order to predict under what circumstances people will perform well, and what will likely cause performance errors. The assessment can also be used when performance problems are occurring and their cause(s) need to be identified.
 
Building High Performance Teams: Our systematic assessment of individual and team attentional and interpersonal characteristics help identify development targets, improves selection, hiring and succession planning efforts.
 

You have been invited to complete an exercise called "The Attentional and Interpersonal Style Inventory" as part of our process. 

This exercise consists of 144 questions and should take approximately 30 minutes.

that once your assessment is complete, DO NOT retake the assessment to change answers as it will nullify all results.

3.    Answer the questions relating to situations that you have not experienced in the way you would have acted under those circumstances.   By completing this exercise, it is understood that you have agreed to release appraisal findings and related recommendations which will be communicated both verbally and in the form of a confidential report, if requested, by our client company.  While Simpson Associates is to be a provider of appraisal findings and recommendations, any decisions regarding candidacy for possible selection is at the prerogative of our client company.
