President of Rutherford International ESG, Mr. Rutherford has been an active executive search
and management consulting professional for
twenty-four years. Prior to starting Rutherford
International in 1990, he was a Partner with
an international executive search firm, and was responsible for search, compensation and research.
Mr. Rutherford has consulted to a number of North America's largest real estate developers, owners, banks, life companies, private capital and pension fund managers. He specializes in unique and difficult assignments, which include projects in the Middle East, Gold Coast of Africa, Europe, United Kingdom and the United States. Assignments have been eclectic and widely varied.
Mr. Rutherford owns an Internet publishing and design company, called Infobahn Communications Incorporated. Infobahn supports a variety of web enabled products such as REmatrix.com, a B2B commercial real estate portal/job board; and the North American Real Estate Review, an online academic and peer review collaborative network and journal.
Mr. Rutherford is a member of the Board for both CCIM's Central Canadian and IFMA's Toronto Chapters. He is an Associate member of TEC (The Executive Council), an international association of Chief Executive Officers. He is specifically interested in matters related to corporate governance, executive leadership, and distance education utilizing web enabled social and corporate networks.
