The preferred objective of this service is to assist in the launch, growth and/or renewal of small and medium-sized companies that have an existing relationship with an equity fund. However, we are actively investigating alternative funding platforms such as Angel networks and crowdfunding exchanges.
Our approach to renewal generally involves refining the management team and/or the corporate structure; it may also include the injection of new follow-through capital.
Working through a special-purpose vehicle called Tenebrae Capital Inc., a percentage of our fee for this service is held as a sidecar investment aligned with the equity investors’ exit strategy.
